Small Slope Concrete Front Tornado / Storm Shelter - 5'x7'x6'2"
This is our smallest slope front unit. It holds 5 to 7 people comfortably. It comes with a double handrail on its metal steps; gas operated door closer, a 6" vent and 8" wind turbine. This shelter can be installed with smaller equipment and is ideal for in city limit houses with smaller yards. For installation it will need 8' of width to back up to one side of the hole and 13.5' height.
Medium Slope Front Concrete Tornado / Storm Shelter - 6'x8'x6'2"
This is our medium sized slope front unit in Oklahoma. It holds 6 to 8 people comfortably. It comes with a double handrail on its metal steps; gas operated door closer, a 6" vent and 8" wind turbine. For installation it will need 9' of width to back up to one side of the hole and 13.5' height.
Jumbo Slope Front Concrete Tornado / Storm Shelter - 6'8"x10'x6'2"
This is our jumbo sized slope front unit. It holds 12-15 people comfortably. It comes with a double handrail on its metal steps; gas operated door closer, a 6" vent and 8" wind turbine. For installation it will need 9' of width to back up to one side of the hole and 13.5' height.
EZ Access Slope Front Concrete Tornado / Storm Shelter - 4'6"x11'x5'10"
This is our EZ Access slope front unit. It has concrete steps poured into it instead of metal steps. It is ideal for seniors, people with mobility issues, or large dogs. It comes with a single handrail on its steps; a gas operated door closer, a 6" vent and 8" wind turbine. For installation it will need 9' of width to back up to one side of the hole and 13.5' height.

All of our metal saferooms in Oklahoma are custom made to order. These are considered our "standard" sizes, but we can customize this saferoom down to the half inch if your space requires something specific. They have a 3/16 outer skin and a 12 gage inner skin. It has a standard 36" steel door with three deadbolts and can swing inward or outward and can hinge left or right. Each saferoom comes painted gray. Powder coating is available at an extra cost. This unit does NOT have a floor. They are typically installed in existing garages, but are great for new builds as well.
4'x8'x6'2" Concrete Safe Room
This concrete saferoom has 4" thick walls and is poured with a rebar cage. It has a standard 36" steel door with three deadbolts. It swings outward and can hinge left or right. This unit does NOT have a floor. It must be set on an existing concrete slab or be purchased with our separate slab to be installed outside. It is perfect for new builds and can easily be built around for a closet, pantry, or panic room etc.
6'x6'x6'2" Concrete Safe Room
This concrete saferoom has 4" thick walls and is poured with a rebar cage. It has a standard 36" steel door with three deadbolts. It swings outward and can hinge left or right. This unit does NOT have a floor. It must be set on an existing concrete slab or be purchased with our separate slab to be installed outside. It is perfect for new builds and can easily be built around for a closet, pantry, or panic room etc.
5'10"x5'10" Decorative Concrete Safe Room
This is our decorative above ground saferoom in Oklahoma. This concrete saferoom has 4" thick walls and is poured with a rebar cage. It has a standard 36" steel door with three deadbolts. It swings outward and can hinge left or right. This saferoom can be poured with or without a floor. Without the floor it is 6'2" tall. With a floor poured it is 5'10" tall.
MUST HAVE A CONCRETE PAD TO ATTACH SAFE ROOMS
Warranty
The manufacturer warrants that there will be no leakage in the concrete structure for a period of 10 years from the date of installation. This includes the seal where the two (2) units are joined.
The warranty does not include moisture that may appear from time to time in the form of condensation, commonly due to temperature variations, humidity, etc. Neither does the warranty include water that may enter the structure through the door or ventilator.
Small cracks caused by expansion and/or contraction which do not create a leakage or structural problem are not covered by the warranty.
Warranty applies to units which have been set in ground by Hausners. Units which have been picked up or relocated are void of warranty.
We reserve the right to repair a shelter before replacing it. (in certain instances an invoice maybe required to verify shelter install)
Terms & Conditions
In purchasing from Hausner's Inc., you are subject to the following:
A. Required building permits are the responsibility of the homeowner.
B. The quoted price does not include excess dirt removal.
C. Storm shelter installation site to be determined by homeowner subject to the contractor’s approval.
D. Rock Clause: Contractor will attempt to excavate hole with standard backhoe. If hole cannot be excavated with our equipment, homeowner will have option to rent a hydro hammerhoe at their expense for hole excavation. Arrangements may be made to reschedule the installation due to equipment availability.
